  • Switching music distributors while retaining your streams is possible by following these steps:

    1. Keep Your Music Live – Do not remove your release from the old distributor until the new one is live.

    2. Use the Same Metadata – Ensure the ISRC, track titles, artist name, and album details match exactly with the previous release.

    3. Match Release Date – Set the original release date in the new distributor’s system to avoid losing historical data.

    4. Wait for Migration – Once the new release is live, your stream counts should transfer automatically.

    5. Takedown Old Release – After confirming that streams have migrated, request the takedown from your previous distributor.

By following these steps carefully, you can switch distributors without losing your streaming stats or playlist placements.

  • To get verified as an Official Artist Channel (OAC) on YouTube, you need to meet these requirements:

    1. Minimum of 100 Subscribers - Your YouTube channel must have at least 100 subscribers to qualify. This threshold ensures that your channel demonstrates a growing audience and active engagement.

    2. Three Approved Songs Distributed via One Music Records - A minimum of three songs must be officially distributed and approved through One Music Records. This confirms your professional standing as a verified artist with an active catalog.

    3. Matching Artist and Channel Name -The name used for your music (artist name) and your YouTube channel name must match exactly. Consistency ensures your channel is recognized as the official platform for your music.

    4. Exclusivity with One Music Records - Your YouTube channel should not be associated with any other distributor. To maintain authenticity and avoid conflicts, the channel must solely be linked to One Music Records or a single designated distributor.

If eligible, your channel will receive the Official Artist Channel badge, merging your topic channel.
