How to Fix Incorrect Artist Profile Merging on Streaming Platforms

If your song has been merged with another artist's profile, it is likely due to metadata mismatches or incorrect artist mapping by the streaming platform. This usually happens when:

  1. Similar Artist Name – Your artist name matches or is very similar to another artist, leading to incorrect profile assignment.

  2. Incorrect Metadata Submission – If the metadata (such as artist name, featured artist, or contributor details) was not properly formatted, it might have caused confusion.

  3. Platform Error – Sometimes, streaming platforms automatically merge releases based on their internal system, even if the metadata was correctly submitted.

How to Fix It?

  1. Contact Your Distributor (One Music Records) – Share the issue with us so we can escalate it to the respective platforms.

  2. Raise a Request on Your Dashboard – Log in to your One Music Records Dashboard and submit a request regarding the incorrect mapping.

  3. Email Our Support Team – If needed, email us at support@onemusicrecordsoffical.com with the details of the incorrect mapping, including:

    • Your correct artist profile link

    • The incorrect profile where your song is appearing

    • The affected release details (UPC/ISRC, song title, etc.)

Once we receive your request, our team will take the necessary steps to rectify the issue with the respective platforms.
